In 2006, Randall J Scholten retired from a career in healthcare to pursue his interest in nature photography, which had been a lifelong hobby that started after receiving a hand-me-down camera from his father in his early teens. His photography is now enjoyed around the world and he has won numerous awards and has had his photos published in numerous magazines, newspapers, and on many websites.
Originally from Michigan, Randall now lives on the spectacular Southern Oregon coast with his wife of 35 years and their three dogs, and specializes in sunset/sunrise, seascape, and lighthouse photography. He uses a Nikon D700 and several Nikon lens.
